These songs were made by us for teaching languages. They are neither juvenile nor too complex with crazy lyrics. They were written with language learning in mind yet sound as beautiful or perhaps more than anything on the market. We have a variety of styles.
The designers of their program have an interesting background. They have double mastery of both music and languages. For example, Marta Molodynska teaches both music and languages at Jagiellonian University, the second oldest university in Europe and the leader in research in languages. Marta coordinated the music for the program. It was done in a very professional way with the idea of effectiveness. When you listen to the music you just think you are listening to beautiful music, which is its, but underneath the beauty it is coordinated rhythm with languages. If there is a magic way to learn languages, and I do not believe in magic ways, learning with our music is it.
Have you ever thought you did not have the gift to learn languages
I did. I thought I did not have the gift to learn languages. Yet, I spoke my native language quite eloquently; however,
I could only admired from afar others who mastered one or more foreign languages. People would pedantically snub, 'you have not to have a gift to learn languages. Fact: You learned your first language though acquisition, you can learn another language in an analogous way. Acquisition is not learning though translation, from a book or from school. Acquisition is about your brain making neural connection directly from your visual and auditory regions directly to your verbal centers, Wernicke's area and Broca's area. Language is primarily processed in the left hemisphere. The two main language - processing centers are Wernicke's area and Broca's area. How you connect these areas to your brain's regions, will determine how fast well you speak a language. If the connections is direct and enjoyable, this will be analogues to acquisitions and will succeed. Our software connections is focused on making a direct connection. Hi,
My name's Caroline Brown and I have been teaching English to adults for over twenty-five years. Listening is very important when you are learning to speak a language. My students always wanted to have lots of opportunities to listen to real English so I put together some Listening exercises for them to practice. Now I have made these exercises available to you so that, you too, can practice and improve.
I hope that you enjoy them and make lots of progress!
Caroline
Reading poetry for children can often help you to learn a foreign language. Why? Because poetry written for children is simple, and uses words and language which are close to the ordinary spoken language. And generally these poems are short, and make you laugh
