از نظر گاندی هفت موردی که بدون هفت مورد دیگر خطرناک هستند:
1-ثروت، بدون زحمت

چقدر نشنیدن ها و نشناختن ها و نفهمیدن ها است كه به این مردم،

آسایش و خوشبختی بخشیده است !!!

روزی مردی داخل چاله ای افتاد و بسيار دردش آمد ...

یک روحانی او را دید و گفت :حتما گناهی انجام داده ای!

یک دانشمند عمق چاله و رطوبت خاک آن را اندازه گرفت!

یک روزنامه نگار در مورد دردهایش با او مصاحبه کرد!

یک یوگيست به او گفت : این چاله و همچنين دردت فقط در ذهن تو هستند در واقعيت وجود ندارند!!!

یک پزشک برای او دو قرص آسپرین پایين انداخت!

یک پرستار کنار چاله ایستاد و با او گریه کرد!

یک روانشناس او را تحریک کرد تا دلایلی را که پدر و مادرش او را آماده افتادن به داخل چاله کرده بودند پيدا کند!

یک تقویت کننده فکر او را نصيحت کرد که : خواستن توانستن است!

یک فرد خوشبين به او گفت : ممکن بود یکی از پاهات رو بشکنی!!!

سپس فرد بیسوادی گذشت و دست او را گرفت و او را از چاله بيرون آورد...!

وقتي به شعله شمع فوت مي كنيد و شمع خاموش مي شود شعله به كجا مي رود........

چه قدر نشنیدن ها و نشناختن ها و نفهمیدنها که به این مردم آسایش و خوشبختی بخشیده است.

آينده ها به نظر بزرگ جلوه مي کنند اما وقتي که گذشتند مي فهميم که ناچيز بودند .

تنهائی جهنم است , اما با مطالعه این جهنم تبدیل به بهشت میشود .

تمام دانش ما فقط بدرد آن میخورد که بطرز دردناکتر از سایر حیوانات جان بسپاریم .

اساسا ، خوشبختی فرزند نامشروع حماقت است. همه کسانی که در جست و جوی خوشبخت بودن هستند بی خود تلاشی در بیرون از خویش نکنند اگر بتوانند " نفهمند" می توانند " خوشبخت " باشند.

چون مردم كمتر متوجه سعادت هستند، بدبختي ها بيشتر نمايان است. [ آنها ] ستم و ستمگري را عادي فرض مي كنند و سعادت و عدالت را جزء اتفاقات مي پندارند.شما را بخدا روح ما با اين افکار پست و انديشه هايي که از حدود معده و شهوت تجاوز نمي نمايد آيا اگر از بين برود بهتر نيست........

انسانها سه دسته اند.عده ای چون مگس هستند.آدمهای عیب جو مثل مگسانند که فقط روی عیب و کثافتها می نشینند.آدمهای سخت کوش و زحمت کش مثل مورچه هستندکه فقط به جمع کردن و انبار کردن می اندیشند و پردازش در کار آنها نیست ولی انسانهای وارسته مثل زنبور عسل هستند که از شهد گلهای مختلف می نوشند و تبدیل به عسل مصفا می کنند و خلاقیتی در کارشان هست.

آیا قیاس گیرمت از روز نوبهار؟/ ماننده‌ات كنم به یكی روز نوبهار؟

زیباتری به ناز و دل‌انگیزتر، چو نار

توفان به لرزه آورد آن غنچه‌های ناز

وین عهد با بهار، چه كوتاه چون شرار.

گه گرم و پر شرر شود آن چشم آسمان = گاهی شراره می زند آن چشم آسمان

گاهی فكنده بر رخِ زرینه پود و تار

گاهی بپژمرد گل رخسار هر جمال

از دور روزگار و یا بخت سازگار!

اما بهار روی تو هرگز نپژمرد

حلزون

باران دست بردار نیست. جاده تازه اسفالت شده را خیس می کند و اسفالت با آن رنگ سیاه اش توی سبزی علفها تو چشم می زند.

باران که تمام می شود، حلزونها از یک طرف جاده راه می افتند به طرف دیگر. ارام آرام. گاهی نرسیده به ان طرف می روند زیر پای ادمها و ترقی صدا می کنند و می شکنند. زاغها گاهی می ایند و حلزونهایی را که صدفشان شکسته شده را بر می دارند و می خورند.

گفتم آه باز حلزون رفت زیر پایم.

گفت چند تا

گفتم به گمانم سه تا.

پست دیوار غذا خوری مدرسه دانهلون بود.

تابستان گذشته. افتاب تازه بعد از باران زده بود بیرون و پشت دیوار سالن غذا خوری شیبی داشت به جنگل. سبز و بارانی.

تا بستان که می شود مواظبم حلزون زیر پایم نرود. حلزونها هم دل دارند. نباید دلشان را بشکنی.

روزی سیبی از درخت ، روی سر مردی افتاد : آن مرد جاذبه زمین را کشف کرد.

روزی سیبی از درخت ، روی سر مردی افتاد : آن مرد گفت : چه قدر بد شانس هستم و آنجا را ترک کرد.

روزی سیبی از درخت ، روی سر مردی افتاد : آن مرد سیب را نقاشی کرد.

روزی سیبی از درخت ، روی سر مردی افتاد : آن مرد سیب را بالذت خورد.

روزی سیبی از درخت ، روی سر مردی افتاد : آن مرد عصاره شفا بخشی از آن ساخت و معجزه طب را آشکار کرد.

نمیدانم ... اما شاید هیچوقت اینگونه خداحافظی با دانشجویان فارغ التحصیل برایم سخت نبود . امروز سخت گذشت . این قطعات را به همه دانشجویان فارغ التحصیل تقدیم میکنم :

چهار نیرو

آلن جونز کشیش می گوید برای ساختن روح به چهار نیروی نامرئی نیاز داریم : عشق ، مرگ ،قدرت ، زمان .

عشق لازم است زیرا خدا ما را دوست دارد .

آگاهی از مرگ لازم است تا زندگی را بهتر بفهمیم .

مبارزه برای رشد لازم است ، اما نباید در دام قدرتی که در این مبارزه به دست می آید بیفتیم زیرا می دانیم که این قدرت هیچ ارزشی ندارد.

سرانجام باید بپذیریم که روح ما هر چند ابدی است اما در این لحظه گرفتار دام زمان است ، با فرصتها و محدودیتهایش .بدین ترتیب باید طوری عمل کنیم که در زمان بگنجد، کاری کنیم تا به هر لحظه ارزش بگذاریم .نباید این چهار نیرو را مشکلاتی بدانیم که باید حل کنیم ، زیرا خارج از اختیار ماست . باید آنها را بپذیریم و بگذاریم آن چه را که باید به ما بیاموزند .

مصاحبه با خدا

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

در رويا ديدم که با خدا حرف ميزنم

So you would like to interview me? God asked.

او از من پرسيد :آيا مايلي از من چيزي بپرسي؟

If you have the time? I said.

گفتم ....اگر وقت داشته باشيد....

God smiled. ? My time is eternity.

لبخندي زد و گفت: زمان براي من تا بي نهايت ادامه دارد

What questions do you have in mind for me?

What surprises you most about humankind?

That they get bored with childhood,

آدم ها از بچه بودن خسته مي شوند ...

they rush to grow up, and then

عجله دارند بزرگ شوند و سپس.....

Long to be children again.

That they lose their health to make money...

خدا

روزي پسر كوچكي تصميم گرفت با خدا ملا قات خدا برود و چون مي دانست راه درازي در پيش دارد مقداري كلوجه و نوشيدني در چمدان گذاشت و سفرش را آغاز كرد.

هنوز راه زيادي نرفته بود كه در پارك چشمش به پير زني افتاد كه روي صندلي نشسته بود و خيره به پرندگان نگاه مي كرد . پسرك كنار پير زن نشست و چمدانش را باز كرد . مي خواست چيزي بنوشد كه متوجه گرسنگي پيرزن شد و كلوچه اي به او داد .

پيرزن با حسي سرشار از قدر شناسي آن را گرفت و لبخندي نثار پسرك كرد . لبخندش آن قدر زيبا بود كه پسرك خواست براي ديدن دوباره آن مقداري نوشيدني نيز به او بدهد . لبخندهاي پيرزن پسرك را غرق درلذت كرد. آن دو تمام بعد از ظهر را به خوردن و نوشيدن گذراندند بي آن كه كلمه اي بين آنها رد و بدل شود .

با تاريك شدن هوا پسرك تازه متوجه شد كه چقدر خسته است و براي برگشتن به خانه از جا برخاست ، اما هنوز چند قدمي پيش نرفته بود كه با سرعت به سوي پيرزن بازگشت و او را در آغوش كشيد و بار ديگر نظاره گر عميقترين لبخند پيرزن شد .

مادر پسرك كه با ورود او اوج لذت را در چهره وي تشخيص داد علت شادي او را جويا شد . پسرك نيز در پاسخ گفت : من امروز با خدا ناهار خوردم و قبل از اينكه مادر چيزي بگويد اضافه كرد : و لبخند او زيباترين لبخندي بود كه تا به حال ديده ام . پيرزن نيز سرشار از شادي و آرامش به خانه برگشت و در پاسخ به پسرش كه از حالات عجيب مادر شگفت زده شده بود گفت: امروز با خدا در پارك كلوچه خوردم . او بسيار جوان تر از آن است كه در انتظار داشتم

Today we have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time

این ترانه بسیار زیبا به اسم ساعتها که در یکی از نشریات چاپ شده بود، تاکنون برنده جوایز بین المللی متعددی شده است. بخوانید و از آن لذت ببرید. حفظ کردن آن هم برای علاقه مندان به شعر و شاعری خالی از لطف نیست، به خصوص اینکه باعث تقویت زبان در بخش شعر می شود تا در آینده شعرها را راحت تر متوجه شوید.

دل من دير زمانی است که می پندارد:
